"I went through 4 personal air conditioners, humidifiers in the last 6 months, all having become defective a short time after purchase. I certainly hope that this one holds up .It is the best of all 5. It is superior to Arctic Air in that it is much quieter and the fan and mist are much stronger. This little guy really throws out the mist and it has 3 misting levels. Very attractive too. A great feature is that the water compartment is on top and totally visible, no guessing about the water level as some units. Cost is a bit more but it is worth it."
